I was looking forward to seeing Ty Vandendool’s return t the Slice, but missed his Feb. 11 show as well as most of Makiisma’s set.
Makiisma is always a pleasure to watch. Lately Megan Brown has been playing fiddle with everybody else’s bands, so it really is a pleasure to see her playing her own songs with her own band.
They played a tight set of alternative country/ death country music.
Keyboardist TJ Waltho added extra layers of sound to Brown’s ethereal, spooky vocals.
